TATIANa & james

London weddings hold a special place in my heart with its energy, the architecture, the quiet pockets of beauty in the midst of the city. As a London wedding photographer, there’s something uniquely romantic about capturing love stories set against this iconic backdrop. Tatiana and James’s wedding was the perfect expression of everything I adore about editorial wedding photography in the city: timeless, stylish, and full of emotion.

Having met at school at just 14, Tatiana and James’s story is one of true connection. Eleven years later, during a once-in-a-lifetime safari in Kenya, James proposed, setting the tone for a wedding that was both heartfelt and strikingly elegant.

They exchanged vows at Chelsea Old Church before heading to Pavilion Club Knightsbridge, one of the chicest London wedding venues, for a modern reception featuring canapés, bowl food, and flowing champagne in place of a traditional dinner. Tatiana looks like a movie star and wore the sculptural ‘Ophelia’ gown by Saint Bridal for the ceremony, later changing into a slinky evening dress for a second flash session indoor at the Pavilion Club.

They told me they were drawn to my work for its storytelling soul paired with an editorial eye - natural, documentary-style moments with the polished feel of vintage film. This wedding, full of candid joy and chic details, was a beautiful reflection of that balance.

As someone named one of London’s Best Wedding Photographers by Junebug Weddings and one of Elle UK’s Best Wedding Photographers, it’s always an honour to photograph love like this - where style meets sincerity, and every frame feels like a legacy.
