LUCY& MATT

An Old Marylebone Town Hall elopement. Not all love stories need an audience. For Lucy & Matt, five years together and two young daughters in, their decision to elope was simple, soulful, and deeply true to them.

They planned a weekend in London, just the two of them, staying at the elegant Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel before heading in a London Cab to the Old Marylebone Town Hall for a quietly powerful ceremony. I was honoured not only to photograph the day but also to stand as a witness - one of those roles that reminds me how truly privileged I am to do this work.

Lucy wore a stunning ivory mini dress from Alix London, effortlessly modern and editorial in its silhouette. Every detail of the day was intentional - no performance, no pressure. Just two people choosing each other, in stunning London.

As a London Wedding Photographer these intimate elopements hold a special kind of magic. The quiet moments: a window-lit room, soft laughter, a hand held just a little tighter. Lucy told me she was drawn to my work for how effortless the couples looked. “We’re not great in front of the camera,” she said - and yet, the result is a collection of images that feel honest, elegant, and full of warmth.

Their friends and family found out weeks later at what they thought was an engagement party - which I was lucky enough to capture as well - a perfect twist on tradition, and a celebration filled with love.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in London, or someone to document your Old Marylebone Town Hall elopement of Kimpton Fitzroy wedding, I’d be honoured to capture it with beauty, care, and calm intention.
