I split my time between London and Cape Town, especially throughout the South African summer. I photograph design-led celebrations with a calm, editorial and emotionally intuitive approach that supports the flow of your day.

My Approach to Editorial and Documentary Storytelling
My work blends editorial composition with intuitive documentary storytelling. I create space rather than take it up, guiding gently when direction is needed and stepping back when moments unfold naturally.
I photograph using a thoughtful mix of digital, 35mm film and medium format film. Film brings a softness, depth and timelessness that elevates the aesthetic, while digital ensures pace and precision. This balance allows couples to move with intention and stay fully present throughout the wedding day.
On the day, I move quietly and intentionally. I stay aligned with your timeline, adapt quickly to any changes and work efficiently so your couples can enjoy their celebration without disruption.
The experience is calm, elegant and emotionally grounded. The goal for my images are to feel modern, fashion aware and deeply expressive.

Your design work is intentional, layered and considered. My responsibility is to photograph those choices with accuracy, respect and artistry.
I pay close attention to:
• Colour grading that stays true to your palette
• The texture of linens, stationery and florals
• The composition of tablescapes and installations
• The architectural context of the venue
• The overall mood you imagined for the event
I understand how much time goes into curating the exact tone of a table linen or the specific shade of florals. My goal is to honour that work with images that feel both true to life and deeply considered.
Important Details & Multi-Format Coverage
While I bring my own creative perspective, I always work closely with you to ensure nothing essential is missed. If there is a specific detail, installation or moment you want prioritised, I am more than happy to add it to our shot list and build time into the schedule.
Efficiency matters and I work quickly during décor capture, fully aware of the time pressures on wedding days and the importance of keeping to your timeline.

I was raised in Cape Town and built my career internationally, photographing weddings across Europe, the United Kingdom and beyond. That combination has shaped the way I work.

Returning to Cape Town each summer feels meaningful. I understand the light, the landscapes, the pace of the day and the creative culture of South African weddings.
