Eva & Alex’s Chic Destination Wedding at Casa Olivi, Le Marche

I first met Eva when I shot Molly & Jakob’s Nice destination wedding, where she was a guest. I was so honoured when she later asked me to photograph her own destination wedding in Italy. In July 2025 Eva and Alex gathered their closest friends and family at Casa Olivi, one of the most magical renovated minimalist villas in the Le Marche region of Italy, for a celebration that felt both intimate and editorial.

A Dream Setting in Le Marche

Nestled among rolling hills and olive groves, Casa Olivi is the kind of Italian villa wedding venue that feels effortlessly timeless. With its stone walls, sweeping countryside views, and chic, pared-back interiors, it’s the epitome of a stylish minimalist wedding venue - where nothing distracts from the emotions unfolding and the beauty of the natural landscape. For anyone dreaming of a wedding in the Le Marche region, this villa is a gem: understated, soulful, and unforgettable.

Relaxed, Editorial Photography

From the beginning, Eva and Alex told me they were drawn to my “editorial yet relaxed style” - they loved the blurred focus, the balance of colour and black & white, and most of all, the candid, unposed moments. Alex admitted he wasn’t naturally comfortable being photographed, which only made my documentary approach more meaningful. By offering gentle direction and letting them fall into their own rhythm, I was able to capture portraits that felt authentic, unguarded, and true to who they are.

As an experienced Italy wedding photographer, these are the moments I treasure: a quiet glance across the aisle, a burst of laughter during speeches, the way sunlight moved across lace and stone. Editorial in composition, but always led by feeling.

Details with Heart

Every element of the day was chosen with intention. Eva’s gorgeous gown, by Grace Loves Lace, was modern romance woven into lace and silk. La Bottega di Paola styled florals that mirrored the surrounding hills, soft and organic against the villa’s clean lines. Beauty Concierge Service crafted a look for Eva that was polished yet natural, complementing her natural beauty and in harmony with the setting.

The entire day flowed seamlessly thanks to luxury wedding planner Andrea Zengarini of Chefaway Ice, who coordinated the wedding with care and precision while also curating an unforgettable dining experience. Guests dined al fresco under the Italian sky, celebrating with a menu that felt both elevated and deeply rooted in place. As night fell, DJ Alessandro Barboni filled the terrace with music, drawing everyone to the dance floor beneath a canopy of stars, followed by a chic champagne tower and a surprise firework display.

A Casa Olivi Wedding to Remember

Looking back, what stands out isn’t just the architecture of Casa Olivi or the beauty of the florals - it’s the way Eva and Alex allowed themselves to be fully present. Surrounded by their favourite people, they embraced, laughed, and celebrated without performance or pretense. Their wedding was exactly what they had hoped for: a day that felt candid, relaxed, and beautifully their own.

For couples dreaming of a Casa Olivi wedding or an Italian villa wedding that blends understated elegance with editorial storytelling, Eva and Alex’s celebration is proof of what makes weddings in Le Marche, Italy so special: timeless beauty, soulful moments, and a setting that allows love to take centre stage.
